Who is Bri?

Hey!

I’m Bri (which I’m sure you have already gathered). I am a vibrant twenty-one year old living in California, but I call Kelowna, British Columbia home. I am a current Chiropractic student who has a love for nutrition, fitness, health, and a SICK adventure.

I have considered starting a blog for a long time but always thought… who would want to hear about my life.. other than maybe my mom and my next door neighbour (probably just about the only people who will read this. HI MOM!!) but, I like to think that I live a pretty interesting life and have some pretty neat things to share.

My love for the human body began once I transferred from my general science degree to human kinetics. I couldn’t get enough information about exercise, nutrition and overall well-being. That sparked my decision to quickly (and I mean extremely quickly) pack up all my things and move to another country to further my study of the human body and become a Chiropractor. I am almost a year into my doctorate degree and the body is still the most amazing, beautiful and FREAKING CRAZY COMPLICATED thing I get the pleasure of learning about.

I think that the fact that we are THE chosen sperm in a pool of 20-100 million of them with the fusion of your mother’s egg is a miracle in itself. We only have one body and it is my hope that we choose to treat it the way it deserves to be treated… like a miracle! After all, it is the only one we get, and we have to live with it until we die, which is hopefully in the very VERY far future for us.

I wanted to create a place where I get to completely nerd out and share all of my passions in one place. This blog is going to have everything from my favourite nutritious recipes and exercises to my weekend adventures on the west coast sprinkled with my life as a student.

It may be crazy, but thats me and thats life with Bri.
